Hi, I’m Melissa

Industrial Engineer and Self-Taught Baker. I started Honey Bee Baker because of my profuse love of all things sweet and my passion for baking. Mix that with a bit of OCD and my analytical brain, and you get the perfect recipe for perfect cakes.


Not being a traditionally trained chef, I have developed my own style of baking and have devised tricks that will help any baker in the kitchen.

I also have a love for science, so you can expect scientific explanations sprinkled through the more sizable courses. I believe that knowing why you do something is of much more help, than just merely knowing how.

It is an honor to be able to teach and influence bakers all around the country, and I hope that you will benefit greatly from our online courses.

Head chef and cake decorator at Honey Bee Baker. I graduated from City and Guilds in 2018.

Baking has been my true love since I could handle myself in the kitchen and has merely grown stronger since becoming the 2nd half of the Honey Bee Baker team.

It is a pleasure to pass on my knowledge and experience to professional- and home bakers alike.
